WHAT'S NEW

Whew! Sorry folks. I know it's been a while. Life just has a way of getting ahead of a girl. Lots of big changes in 2016. My youngest son graduated high school and begin playing college football. I am a Southern gal so the only thing I like better than butter is football. To cheer him on like a good football mama I made the decision to close my etsy shop. I'm still designing away for some great companies though. As a matter of fact, take a peek at these cute - if I do say so myself - children's birthday invites that will be available soon at www.simplytoimpress.com

MINTED CHALLENGE: MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT

Hello peeps! Had some major life changes this past year so I've been radio silent for a while but I am still around and designing holiday photo cards! Have a peek at what I've been up too!  As always I'd love you to rate my designs along with some of my fellow Minted designers and let Minted know what designs to sell.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

A wish for you, for the coming year, in the wise words of Neil Gaiman.

MINTED CHALLENGE: MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

I know it's a stretch but stay with me here. Christmas is in June. Crazy I know, but if you're a stationery designer that's exactly what happens in your world. Instead of haunting travel sites you spend the month of June designing holiday cards like mad. I still hope to get to Travel Zoo and Kayak to make my break but in the meantime... have a peek at what I cooked up.

MINTED CHALLENGE: BABY ON BOARD

And....just in case you're aren't graduating your baby but welcoming one! Here are some designs up for vote in the Minted Baby on Board Challenge. So you know the drill... if you have some time, hop over to Minted.com and let them know what you think. My and my fellow designers appreciate you taking the time to vote!

WINGING IT

Whew! The calendar just ticked over to February and my master plan for 2015 - as best as I can tell from the new years eve cocktail napkin it's written on - was to be well into a new advertising strategy, a website refresh and tons new designs glossing my pages.  Hmm... perhaps a bit optimistic I know but I envy so many designers who seem so worldly and fresh and well... just so grown up. To my credit, I AM working on my honey-do list and telling myself baby steps... baby steps. So. To those with big plans, that may already be falling a little short, remember this...
